Hi! I’m Amy Goldlist, and I’m a mathematician, teacher, student, author, parent and data scientist.
I’m a faculty member in Operations Management in the School of Business at the British Columbia Institute of Technology, BCIT, where I am Program Head of Business Analytics. I also work with the Centre for Excellence in Analytics at BCIT as the Data Analyst in Residence.
I have an MDS (Masters of Data Science) from UBC, where incidentally I also received my MSc in Mathematics (Algebraic Number Theory) years ago. I have an Honours BSc from the University of King’s College and Dalhousie University, coincidentally also in Math. (It’s not a coincidence).
An author you say? I am also a coauthor of the textbook: Essentials of Business Statistics with Ken Black, Timothy Edmunds and Ignacio Castillo, available via Wiley Publishing.
